Supply Chain & Inventory Lead, Advanced Synthesis 80-100% (m/f/d)

pThe actual location of this job is in Visp or Basel, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed. As part of Advanced Synthesis (ADS), the Supply Chain Inventory Lead plays a critical role in driving Supply Chain performance across all ADS sites. This position is accountable for inventory management strategy, KPI definition, performance reporting, and cross-site process improvement. The role is essential for ensuring operational efficiency, optimized inventory levels, and continuous improvement within the ADS Supply Chain organization. This role is primarily based on site. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. /ppWe offer flexibility to work remotely for no more than 20% of your time. The full list of our global benefits can be found here: /ph3What you will do: /h3ulliDevelop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory /liliLead platform forums to address cross-site inventory topics (e.g., excess inventory, customer liability) /liliBuild and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for inventory projections, write-offs, and provisions /liliMonitor and analyze Supply Chain KPIs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities /liliCollaborate with cross-functional and cross-site teams to design and streamline Supply Chain processes /liliConduct regular performance assessments and provide insights and recommendations to ADS senior management /liliDefine and implement ADS-wide processes (e.g., inventory reporting for SOP) and ensure adherence across sites /li /ulh3What we are looking for: /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred /liliProven experience in material and inventory management with a strong track record in SC KPI performance improvement /liliStrong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets /liliDemonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in matrix organizations /liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and platforms /liliFluency in English; German and Chinese are an advantage /liliAbility to adapt global standards to ADS-specific needs with a strong process-focused mindset /li /ulh3About Lonza /h3pAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
