The Senior Plant Systems Leader is a key technical leadership role managing Plant Operability and Design, Plant Performance, Plant PIDs, and Mechanical Systems and Equipment engineering for GE Vernova scope in customer projects. The role is focused on leading design activities, driving system integration, and managing interfaces across engineering teams, product organizations, external partners, EPCs, suppliers, and customers. The ideal candidate will serve as System Interface Owner, leading order-to-remittance (OTR) design activities, managing technical interfaces, and driving high-quality engineering execution across the project lifecycle — from proposal through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. This role is critical to reducing execution risk, improving change management, and ensuring customer and contractual requirements are translated into effective plant-level solutions. /p h3bJob Description /b /h3 h3bRoles and Responsibilities /b /h3 ul liLead plant operability and design, plant performance, plant PIDs, and plant mechanical systems and equipment engineering for GE Vernova’s scope in the project. /li liSystem Interface Owner for plant mechanical systems integration and ensure alignment across design, operability, performance, safety, and contractual requirements. /li liEnsure the maturity of project contractual deliverables prior to release through proactive coordination with all involved parties and anticipation of possible changes from internal and external interfaces. /li liOrganize and lead system design reviews and technical reviews to ensure engineering quality and compliance with project requirements. /li liOwn technical change management across the project lifecycle, including Design Change Requests, cross-system impact assessment, and communication of changes to stakeholders. /li liPartner with the project team in contract review, schedule alignment, engineering planning, procurement coordination, and customer deliverables for the assigned scope. /li liSupport construction, commissioning, and site issue resolution as required, including timely closure of engineering issues within scope. /li liProvide ideas and contribute to continuous product and process quality improvement initiatives, including maintainability, modularization, reliability, compliance, and execution efficiency. /li /ul h3bRequired Qualifications /b /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience. /li liSignificant experience in systems engineering of combined cycle, simple cycle, or large thermal power plants. /li liSignificant experience with the various systems forming a power plant and their operating principles, design fundamentals, and interfaces. /li liSignificant experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering activities in project execution, concept development, and/or tender support for large power projects. /li /ul h3bDesired Characteristics /b /h3 ul liDemonstrated project management skills. /li liAbility to manage technical interfaces and drive cross-functional issue resolution in a global matrix environment. /li liStrong systems mindset with the ability to lead interface definition, integration, and design reviews across multiple engineering disciplines. /li liDemonstrated experience with GE Vernova standard work and tools, and a continuous improvement mindset to establish lean and efficient engineering workflows. /li liExcellent internal and external communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and changing market environment. /li liProven ability to work collaboratively across functions and organizational boundaries. /li liStrong familiarity with GE Vernova core technologies including gas turbine, steam turbine, generator, HRSG, controls, and overall plant integration. /li /ul h3bAdditional Information /b /h3 pbRelocation Assistance Provided: /bYes /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
