bJob Description /bThis position is open Thalwil, Switzerland; Tampere, Finland; or Cabourne, UKbr/br/As ab Senior Application Engineer /b, you will be part of an international team within the bStandard Precision and Low Power /b business unit, delivering exceptional technical support services and helping customers around the world successfully integrate u-blox GNSS products into Industrial and Consumer applications.br/In this role, you will act as a btechnical product expert /b, dedicated to ensuring customers have the product knowledge, design-in guidance, and support they need to succeed. You will serve as an advocate for end users within the organization by gathering and communicating technical feedback to highlight issues, identify areas for improvement and contribute to evolving product requirements.br/You will work closely with multiple teams - including Product Management, Product Development and RD value teams, as well as Field Application Engineering, Sales and Quality - to support customer projects globally, clear roadblocks toward successful product design-in and ensure seamless and satisfactory user experience across a variety of engagements.br/This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact on delivering world-class products, continuously enhancing product utility and performance and helping customers fully utilize the capabilities of u-blox positioning technologies.br/br/bYour Responsibilities /bliManage customer expectations and provide high-quality remote and on-site technical support for GNSS applications and projects. /liliProvide support from customer first evaluation, to design-in and through to maintenance phases, ensuring seamless integration and maximum product value. /liliAuthor and contribute to technical product documentation, including datasheets, integration and user manuals, application notes and technical content for internal and external audiences. /liliAct as a technical expert, empowering customers through design-in guidance, technical documentation, and personalized support. /liliCollect and process customer feedback, identify areas for improvement and communicate insights to internal stakeholders to drive product enhancements. /liliCollaborate proactively with Product Management, Product Development and RD during product definition, development and improvement processes. /liliProvide customized design-in vehicles, prototype deliveries and tailored technical solutions to accelerate customer adoption of new technologies. /liliAnalyze non-conformities, support root-cause investigations and contribute to corrective actions with the RD teams. /liliHost technical trainings and workshops for Field Application Engineers and key customers worldwide. /li br/bYour Skills and Experience /b liBachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field /liliHands-on experience in embedded software and/or hardware design (digital and analog) /liliCustomer-focused mindset with the ability to quickly understand customer system architectures and provide expert technical advice /liliStrong communication skills, able to interface effectively with global teams and customers /liliSelf-driven and highly organized, with excellent time management, prioritization and follow-up skills /liliWillingness to travel domestically and internationally to support customer engagements and events /liliFluent in English; proficiency in another European or Asian language is a plus /li br/bPreferred Qualifications ("Bonus Points") /b liExperience with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) such as GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, or Galileo /liliSkills in embedded software debugging and experience in development /liliProgramming proficiency in C, C++, Python /liliBackground in hardware design (analog, RF, digital) /li br/bPerks /bbr/We offer a challenging position within an international work environment.
