Now we’re looking for a co‑founder with a food science or animal nutrition background to take this to the next level. What exists Validated product (fresh, chilled pet meals for dogs cats – not frozen, not dry) Strategic production logistics partnership with one of Switzerland's largest food corporations Proof of concept: 8,000+ meals produced 300+ early supporters from a crowdfunding campaignClear path to CHF 600‑850M domestic market with zero industrial fresh competitors What’s missing A co‑founder who brings deep expertise in food technology, food processing, or animal nutrition – ideally with a current or recent connection to a Swiss university or research institution. Someone who is excited about building the RD backbone of a category‑defining brand. What you'd own Product development formulation strategy Research partnerships with Swiss academic institutions Process optimisation (pasteurisation, HPP evaluation, shelf‑life extension) Nutritional validation regulatory compliance Why it’s interesting The product works and customers love it – this is not an idea on a napkin Strategic infrastructure partner already committed (production, logistics, funding) Fresh pet food is a CHF 12B+ global market growing 15%+ per year Switzerland has no industrial player in chilled fresh pet food – wide open space! Who you might be MSc or PhD in food science, food technology, animal nutrition, or related field Currently at or recently graduated from a Swiss university (ETH, ZHAW, BFH, EPFL, or similar) Entrepreneurial mindset – you want to build, not just research Comfortable with ambiguity and early‑stage speed Bonus: experience with HPP, thermal processing, or pet food formulation Next steps Reach out with a few lines about yourself.
