pFor our client, a Switzerland headquartered international industrial company, we are looking for an experienced candidate to participate in the monthly group close, consolidation and external reporting processes. /p h2strongAbout the Role /strong /h2 pYou will ensure accurate, timely and compliant consolidated financial statements under IFRS, drive improvements to consolidation and reporting processes, and act as a key finance partner to business units and senior stakeholders. /p h2strongResponsibilities /strong /h2 ul liParticipate in the monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation process, including management reporting and statutory reporting deliverables. /li liPrepare and review consolidated financial statements, notes and disclosures, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. /li liOwn group reporting timetables, close instructions and deliverable tracking; ensure adherence across all entities. /li liReview entity submissions, ensuring completeness, accuracy and appropriate analytical commentary (P()L, balance sheet and cash flow). /li liManage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, including profit in stock, dividends, intragroup charges and balances. /li liOversee consolidation adjustments (e.g. leases, pensions, share-based payments, impairments, provisions) and maintain robust supporting documentation. /li liSupport external audit activities for group reporting, including preparation of audit files and coordination with local finance teams and auditors. /li liAct as technical accounting point of contact: research, interpret and document accounting treatments and prepare position papers where required. /li liMaintain and develop consolidation and reporting systems including master data, hierarchy changes and user support. /li liDrive continuous improvement: streamline close activities, enhance controls, automate recurring reports, and improve data quality and transparency. /li liPartner with FP()A, Tax, Treasury and local finance leads to ensure alignment between performance reporting and statutory outcomes. /li liCoach and develop colleagues (and potentially manage direct reports), building capability across the group reporting community. /li /ul h2strongQualifications /strong /h2 ul liDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline (or equivalent). /li liCharterted Accountant - Swiss WP or international equivalent /li liMinimum German level C1. /li /ul h2strongRequired Skills /strong /h2 ul liSolid experience in group consolidation and reporting within an international company or experience having audited these firms. /li liTechnical accounting knowledge and confidence advising stakeholders. /li liExperience with consolidation tools and strong Excel skills; Power BI is an advantage. /li liProven ability to manage deadlines, prioritise effectively and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure. /li liStrong analytical skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly to non-specialists. /li liExperience designing and improving processes and controls. /li /ulh2About Nordwand Group /h2pThe Nordwand Group AG in Zurich specialise in providing IT jobs and finance jobs on a permanent, contracting and interim management basis.
