International Business Development Manager (m/f/d), Basel
Drive the international growth of our compatible coffee capsules business across Europe and North America. In this highly commercial role, you combine business development with strategic key account management, win leading international retailers, and build long-term partnerships that create sustainable growth.
What impact do you have?
Drive business development and revenue growth across selected international markets
Acquire, develop, and grow international retail customers and business partners
Manage and expand strategic key accounts and long-term customer relationships
Lead annual business reviews, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations with international retail organizations
Analyze market opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customer and growth initiatives
Collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions for customers.
What do you offer?
Education: Bachelor's degree (university / university of applied science)
Specialization: Higher education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Experience: Several years of experience in an international FMCG company, ideally in the food or coffee sector.
Strategic, analytical, and results-driven approach with the ability to develop sustainable growth opportunities across markets and customers
Entrepreneurial hunter mindset with excellent negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25%) and strong experience selling to international retailers
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM systems.
