Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history. /p pWorking as part of one of our Aerodynamics Development teams, the Senior Aerodynamicist is responsible for leading and contributing to all aspects of aerodynamic development, including innovative concept definition and development, numerical (CFD) and physical (Wind Tunnel) testing, as well as analysis and interpretation of results, with the objective of maximizing the aerodynamic performance of the race car. /p pWhy Join Us? /p h3Your mission /h3 ul liWork closely with other Aerodynamicists within one of the Aerodynamics Development teams /li liLead significant aerodynamic development activities contributing to the performance of the race car /li liDevelop innovative aerodynamic concepts within current Formula One regulations /li liAnalyse and interpret CFD, Wind Tunnel and track data to define and support aerodynamic development direction /li liSupport and drive departmental efforts to improve correlation between CFD, Wind Tunnel and track performance /li liTake ownership of major aerodynamic development projects from concept definition through to validation /li liContribute to the definition and prioritization of aerodynamic development direction /li liSupport and mentor junior members of the aerodynamic development groupSupport Wind Tunnel testing activities when required, including night-shift coverage /li /ul h3Key Deliverables /h3 ul liDemonstrate expert understanding and effective use of the department’s development tools and methodologies /li liConsistently deliver high-quality aerodynamic development work within demanding timescales /li liDemonstrate strong analytical capability, sound engineering judgement and deep understanding of aerodynamic concepts and development processes /li liIdentify and develop high-value aerodynamic performance opportunities /li liContribute positively to the effectiveness, standards, culture and technical direction of the Development group /li liSupport the development of less experienced aerodynamicists within the team /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liStrong academic background in Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics (MSc level preferred), ideally with a degree in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline /li liSignificant experience in aerodynamic development within Formula One or another high-level motorsport category /li liStrong experience with CFD, Wind Tunnel testing and aerodynamic data analysis tools within a high‑performance engineering environment /li liExperience leading aerodynamic development projects and mentoring engineers within a high‑performance environment /li liGood written and verbal communication skills in English. /li liPerformance‑oriented and highly motivated attitude. /li liResilience and ability to perform under pressure /li liAbility to work effectively within a fast‑paced and collaborative environment /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills /li liAbility to manage and prioritise workload effectively /li liStrong technical judgement and decision‑making capability /li liAbility to support and influence the wider engineering group positively /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
