Through high‑impact initiatives, partnerships, and platforms, CNC aims to accelerate solutions that support a nature‑positive, net‑zero future and drive systemic change at scale. /p h3Context and why we are recruiting /h3 pTo support the launch and delivery of the Hoffmann Programme on Planetary Science for Economic Futures, CNC is recruiting a Specialist, Planetary Futures to help coordinate and operationalize the programme’s global cohort and senior leadership community. /p pThis role will support the day‑to‑day management of the cohort journey, including community engagement, programme coordination, events support, communications, and stakeholder management. The position will play an important role in ensuring a high‑quality cohort experience while supporting collaboration across the Forum ecosystem and external partners. /p h3Reporting line and how is this role embedded in the wider team? /h3 pThis role will report to CNC’s Lead, Expert Community and will operate across multiple teams in an entrepreneurial and fast‑paced environment. /p pThe Specialist, Planetary Futures will work closely with initiative teams, operations, communications, and external partners to support community engagement, programme delivery, and knowledge‑sharing activities across the initiative. /p h3What will you be responsible for? /h3 ul liSupport the application and selection processes and onboarding and engagement of Hoffmann Planetary Leaders across academic and non‑profit institutions globally /li liCoordinate regular communications, community touchpoints, and engagement activities for the cohort /li liMaintain cohort records, engagement tracking, and programme data through internal systems and Salesforce /li liSupport the implementation of the cohort curriculum, learning journeys, and peer exchange activities /li liCoordinate logistics and scheduling for cohort meetings, workshops, and virtual convenings /li /ul h3Event and programme support (30%) /h3 ul liSupport planning and delivery of annual fellowship gatherings, workshops, and dialogue sessions /li liCoordinate invitations, briefing materials, speaker preparation, and participant communications /li liDraft pre‑read materials, programme notes, and engagement summaries /li liProvide logistical and operational support for Forum and non‑Forum events linked to the programme /li /ul h3Research and stakeholder engagement support (20%) /h3 ul liConduct desk research and support mapping exercises related to planetary science, economic futures, and science communication /li liSupport coordination with academic institutions, research partners, and external collaborators /li liAssist in tracking cohort outputs, collaborations, and impact indicators /li /ul h3Cross‑functional collaboration (10%) /h3 ul liCollaborate with communications, events, and initiative teams to support coherent programme delivery and storytelling /li liSupport knowledge‑sharing across CNC thematic areas and related Forum communities /li /ul h3What core knowledge, skills and experience are we looking to add to our team? /h3 h3Domain knowledge and experience /h3 ul liAn intellectual background with a university degree or equivalent in sustainability, environmental studies, public policy, economics, international relations, communications, or related field /li li3+ years of relevant professional experience in programme coordination, community management, events, or stakeholder engagement /li liExperience supporting multi‑stakeholder initiatives or global communities and international events/convenings /li liFamiliarity with academic, research or fellowship programmes is a plus /li /ul h3Core skills /h3 ul liExperience using CRM systems and collaboration tools (e.g. Salesforce, Slack) /li liExceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail /li liHighly collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills /li liAbility to thrive in a demanding environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and deliver under pressure /li liResponsible, independent, and self‑driven, with a passion for innovation to improve quality of life while respecting planetary boundaries /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus /li /ul pJoin an independent and impartial organization with over 55 years of connecting leaders to make sense of global challenges and move the world forward together. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
