Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesIn our Software Development Center, we develop a next-generation Cloud-ready solution that controls high-precision laboratory measurement instrumentation and collects and processes measurement data. The software is distributed worldwide and supports multiple languages. To support our team at our global operating headquarter in Zurich, Greifensee we are looking immediately or by arrangement with a duration of 3 months for a motivated Intern AI in Software Development Center 100% (all genders)Key Responsibilities:
- Bring innovative ideas inspired by the latest AI research, world trends, and automation opportunities
- Proactively challenge assumptions and ways we operate with AI, ask critical questions, encourage creative thinking and propose new approaches for AI adoption
- Collaborate closely with requirement engineers, developers, testers, DevOps experts, and support teams across the software development lifecycle on their usage of AI
- Ensuring AI initiatives move beyond ideation to tangible Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and then successful rollouts
- Measuring and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to verify that AI usage brings real value to our processes and products
- Ensuring proper adoption and usage of AI tools, collecting user feedback to continuously improve effectiveness
- Assist in evaluating existing workflows, processes, and tools
- Recommend and help implement improvements to optimize ways of working and increase overall efficiency
What You Need to SucceedWhat You Bring:
- You are currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- You have a strong enthusiasm for AI and its practical application in software development
- You have basic coding and software development skills; understanding of software development processes and tools is a plus
- We require excellent communication skills in English, German is an advantage
- You can think critically and bring a fresh, innovative perspective with a collaborative mindset
