You will support sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz RF products, providing technical guidance to resolve application challenges, perform RF debugging, and optimize performance at both board and system levels. /ppbr/You will also contribute to the development of laboratory automation tools, generate high-quality technical documentation, and participate in field testing, collaborating with global teams to drive LoRa technology adoption. /pppbbr/Key Responsibilities /b /p /pliProvide technical support to Field Application Engineers, Sales, and directly to customers. Analyze RF design issues, conduct design reviews, and recommend corrective actions; debug hardware at board and system level (b~50% /b). /liliEvaluate and optimize RF performance of LoRa-based evaluation hardware and reference designs, tuning RF matching networks and optimizing PA/LNA performance across operating conditions (b~30% /b). /liliDevelop and maintain RF evaluation tools for conducted and radiated measurements and regulatory compliance (b~10% /b). /liliProduce technical documentation, application notes, presentations, and training materials to promote Semtech products and facilitate LoRa design-in (b~10% /b). /lippbbr/Minimum Qualifications /b /p /pliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in RF or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent). /lili3–5 years’ experience in RF and embedded electronics, including RF measurement and characterization of transmit/receive performance. /liliProficiency with RF laboratory instruments: spectrum analyzer, RF signal generator, vector network analyzer, RF power meter. /liliPractical experience in RF matching network design and tuning, with familiarity in PA and LNA optimization techniques. /liliPython programming skills for test bench automation and measurement scripting. /liliExperience with MCU-based embedded firmware for RF devices is highly desirable. /liliKnowledge of antenna design, wireless communication protocols (LoRa, LoRaWAN, FSK, BLE) is an advantage. /lippbbr/Desired Qualifications /b /p /pliUnderstanding of LoRa modulation, RF propagation, interference, and coexistence challenges. /liliFamiliarity with ETSI (EN300.220), FCC (Part 15.247), and ARIB (STD-T08) regulations. /liliKnowledge of EMC principles and troubleshooting. /liliStrong problem-solving skills, creativity, and structured approach to implementation. /liliAdaptability and curiosity in a dynamic technology environment. /liliExcellent communication skills, with ability to collaborate across multi-site engineering teams. /liliFull professional proficiency in English (French is a plus). /lippbbr/Career Growth Philosophy /b /p /ppAt Semtech, we believe that innovation starts with people.
