h2About the company /h2pAt Jobtome - - we are a HR Tech company building modern web applications used by companies to manage complex hiring and recruitment workflows at scale. /ppOur products are highly interactive, data-driven, and designed for real-world usage, not demos. br / /ppWe work with a strong product mindset, short feedback loops, and a pragmatic engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and long-term maintainability. /ppbr / /ph2The role /h2pWe are looking for a Senior Golang Backend Developer to join our engineering team and take ownership of critical backend systems and services. /ppbr / /ppYou will work on the design, development, and evolution of backend services that power our products, contributing to architectural decisions, improving system reliability, and shaping how backend engineering is done across the company. /ppbr / /ppThis is a hands-on senior role: you will write production code every day and be deeply involved in technical and architectural decisions that have real impact. /p br /br /h2What you will do /h2ullipDesign, develop, and maintain backend services written in Go /p /lilipBuild and evolve APIs (GraphQL and/or REST) that support complex product workflows /p /lilipWork on and design scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend architectures /p /lilipCollaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, data engineers and designers /p /lilipContribute to data modeling, business logic, and performance optimization /p /lilipPerform code reviews and participate in architectural and technical discussions /p /lilipImprove code quality, testing strategy, observability, and system resilience /p /lilipActively work on refactoring, technical debt, and long-term improvements /p /lilipTake ownership of backend features from design to production /p /lilipActively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) /p /li /ulpbr / /ph2Tech stack /h2pbr / /ppYou will work with (and are expected to be comfortable with): /pullipGo (Golang) /p /lilipAPI design (GraphQL and/or REST) /p /lilipPostgreSQL (or similar relational databases) /p /lilipBigQuery and other NoSQL databases /p /lilipDistributed systems and service-oriented architectures /p /lilipDocker and CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab pipelines preferred) /p /lilipCloud infrastructure mindset (GCP or other providers) /p /lilipObservability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) /p /lilipTesting (unit and/or integration) /p /lilipKubernetes /p /li /ulpNice to have points: /pullipWorking experience with Python /p /lilipExposure to Protobuf and Grpc /p /li /ulpbr / /ph2What We’re Looking For /h2pbr / /ppWe consider "senior" someone who can: /pullipWork independently without needing perfect specifications /p /lilipTake ownership of complex features and systems /p /lilipMake informed architectural decisions and explain trade-offs /p /lilipWrite clean, maintainable, and well-structured code /p /lilipProactively identify problems and propose solutions /p /lilipCommunicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders /p /lilipRaise the overall quality bar of the team through example and reviews /p /li /ulpbr / /ph2Working model /h2ullipFull remote, EU only /p /lilipCore hours with flexibility outside of them /p /lilipDaily working language: English /p /li /ul
