Join the lively team at Mama Shelter Zürich as our Receptionist! Youll be the sunshine of the day ensuring everything runs smoothly while our guests enjoy a warm and welcoming stay. Lets make every moment unforgettable together!

THE MISSION

They say first impressions are always the right oneslucky for us youre the first person our guests meet! That means theyre in good hands with you.

  • Youre in charge of welcoming them and ensuring their stay is smooth at any time of the day. You can chat to them in GERMAN mandatory English of course and why stop there if youve mastered other languages.
  • With your warm and personalized hospitality (just like Mama!) you take care of everything: preparing arrivals handling check-ins & check-outs (for both individual guests and groups) managing last-minute bookings answering calls and responding to guest requests.
  • To keep the guest experience top-notch you make sure to share any important feedback complaints or remarks with your manager.
  • You handle payments keep track of your cash register and make sure all accounts are in order.
  • As a Mama ambassador you love showcasing everything we have to offer! Whether its our shop (sale and merchandising of products!) our restaurant or our events.
  • With your best handwriting and a touch of creativity you write useful tips and local recommendations on the mirrors of each floor and elevator.
  • At the end of the day youre the guardian of the perfect guest experienceand we wouldnt have it any other way!

  • Details matter to younothing gets past your sharp eye and killer anticipation skills!
  • Youre attentive and friendly overflowing with kindness (seriously you dont even know what to do with all of it!).
  • Versatile and even a bit of a salesperson you know how to adapt to any situation.
  • You handle every situation like a proMaster Yoda taught you everything you know
  • Confidentiality is key: what happens at Mama stays at Mama.
  • Youre welcoming and engagingwho needs a bell at the front desk when every guest gets your full attention from the moment they step in
  • Team spirit Youve got it! Your colleagues know they can always count on you.
  • Now lets test your priority management skills: A guest rushes to the reception complaining their alarm didnt go off. At the same time the phone ringsits housekeeping asking you something in their sweetest voice. Meanwhile another guest is waiting on the other side of the desk barefoot key in hand. What do you do

Were sure you know the beat:

1st verse: We set up a first telephone interview with our HR if your application moves to our rhythm.
Chorus: After the successful telephone interview we will see you at Mama be ready!
