This role utilizes multiple sources of intelligence to deliver decision-ready insights, strategic options, and early warning signals that shape growth, investment, and long-term resilience. The role partners closely with Marketing and Commercial leadership to translate data and uncertainty into clear narratives, tradeoffs, and recommendations that influence strategy. **Key Responsibilities** ***Strategic Business Intelligence*** * Establish and govern enterprise KPI frameworks to ensure consistency, transparency, and decision relevance.* Deliver performance intelligence: explain what changed, why it changed, and what it means for future decisions.* Develop and maintain executive dashboards and scorecards tied to strategic and commercial priorities.* Partner with Finance, Demand Management, Sales effectiveness and Marketing to enhance forecast narratives, perform sensitivity analyses, and determine performance drivers.***Foresights & Scenario Planning*** * Lead structured trend, signal, and risk tracking across macroeconomic, regulatory, competitive, technology, and customer domains.* Develop scenarios and future outlooks to inform portfolio strategy and multi-year planning.* Build and maintain early-warning systems with defined triggers, thresholds, and response playbooks.* Translate uncertainty into strategic options that are robust across multiple future scenarios.***Strategic Decision Enablement*** * Serves as a critical advisor to marketing and commercial leaders supporting enterprise decisions such as portfolio management, future investments, external partnerships, and growth priorities.* Propose decisions with explicit implications, tradeoffs, and actionable recommendations—not simply analysis.* Facilitate cross-functional strategy sessions (competitive workshop, multi-year planning, war gaming, and more).* Elevate enterprise decision quality by connecting insights directly to actions and outcomes.***Leadership & Operating Model*** * Define and scale a repeatable Insights-to-Action operating model.* Prioritize work based on strategic value, not volume of requests.* Identify, mentor and develop talent pool for future intelligence opportunities.* Set the standard for insight quality, storytelling, and executive communication. ***What This Role Is*** * **This role is** strategic, proactive, and decision-oriented.* **This role is not** traditional reporting, research-only, or data engineering. **Qualifications & Experience** ***Required*** * 10+ years of experience in business insights, strategy, analytics, management consulting, or related fields.* Proven ability to influence senior leaders and commercial teams through insights and recommendations.* Strong experience integrating quantitative performance data with qualitative market signals.* Demonstrated success in scenario planning, strategic analysis, and foresight creation.* Exceptional storytelling and communication skills.* Trained and experienced workshop facilitator.* Highly creative and willing to challenge traditional thinking or existing processes.***Preferred*** * Experience in complex, matrixed, or multinational organizations.* Background in commercial, marketing, strategy, or finance leadership roles.* Familiarity with BI tools, dashboards, and analytical modeling (tool-agnostic focus).* Professional history in agriculture or life science industries.* Experience supporting portfolio strategy or multi-year planning. **Leadership Competencies** * Strategic thinking and systems perspective.* Comfort navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.* Strong cross-functional influence without direct authority.* Bias toward clarity, action, and willingness to make a decision.* High credibility with marketing and commercial leaders. **Success Metrics** * Improved quality and speed of strategic decisions.* Earlier identification of risks and opportunities.* Transformation from reactive to sustained proactive behavior and focus.* Success in developing a modern BI & Foresights capability from the ground up or scaling it further.* Leadership adoption and satisfaction with insights delivered.#LI-OB1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
