Relocation support is available for the successful candidate and their dependent family members. /p h3Purpose of the job /h3 pOur mission is to support central banks' pursuit of monetary and financial stability through international partnership and to act as a bank for central banks. /p pAs a Business Analyst, you will contribute to this mission by offering support to the Back Office team with the coordination and implementation of ongoing optimisation of business processes. /p h3By joining the Regional Back Office and Transformation Support team, you will: /h3 pIdentify change initiatives that simplify and streamline operations in the Back Office. /p pContribute to new initiatives and projects in a dynamic and supportive environment. /p pBenefit from working in a unique, international environment that offers flexible, hybrid working options with a blend of onsite work from our central office location in Basel and home office. /p h3Principal Accountabilities /h3 pPlay a proactive role in improving processes to reduce low-value tasks and enhance overall efficiency. /p pDraft business requirements for the enhancement and automation of Back Office processes. /p pDocument test cases and undertake user acceptance testing. /p pRepresent Back Office in cross-units and Bank-wide projects, and provide status updates to the relevant steering committees. /p pPartner with the Bank's IT teams and external service providers to coordinate the maintenance/enhancement of systems used by Back Office. /p pKeep abreast of major technology trends and developments relevant to Banking operations. /p pCommunicate with colleagues and customers using objective and balanced arguments. Analyse problems and propose solutions. /p h3Qualifications, skills and experience /h3 pA university degree in computer science, a quantitative field, or a related discipline. /p pProven professional experience in financial services operations or within IT departments. /p pStrong analytical skills with the ability to analyse processes and translate business needs into system requirements. /p pGood knowledge of banking business practices (financial instruments, trading platforms, market infrastructures, etc.). /p pExperience with SWIFT messaging standards. /p pVery strong IT skills with an in depth knowledge of banking systems. /p pCreative in finding new solutions / making use of new technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence). /p pExcellent written and oral English language skills. /p pUnderstanding of end-to-end project lifecycles. /p pExperience in developing and executing test plans. /p h3Who we are /h3 pInternationalism is at the core of our identity and the best representation of this is our workforce.
