R&D Mechanical Engineer - Gearbox design

MISSION

Act as Project Leader for the development of new products, in particular the Gearheads

TASKS

• Execution of the activities related to the development of products such as design proposal, construction drawings, prototypes, manufacturing procedures, calculations, test results analyzes, for standard and special products
• Evaluation and optimize the environmental and sustainability aspects associated with the entire life cycle of a product (LCA) during to the product design and development phases
• Optimization of products from technical and logistical point of view and considering production and control processes for equipment and machines
• Collaboration for the control of the projects progress, including the activities of industrialization in production
• Preparation and management of the projects technical documentation
• Execution of change requests
• Contact with suppliers in different languages for the definition of the technical components
• If necessary assistance to the sales force by providing technical advices
• Collaboration in the analysis and evaluation of the feasibility of investments in production
• Collaboration with the concerned departments for analysis of non-compliances and certification of products
• Act as a Project Manager including the presentation of results and decisions in front of the Management or steering committee

PROFILE

The minimum requirements are:

• Master in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Mechatronics, Robotics, etc. …)• Experience in mechanical design and development of mechanical products, preferably with small gearheads
• Knowledge of project management key concept
• Knowledge of 3D CAD Siemens NX and PLM Teamcenter
• Strong aptitude to work with methodic procedure in order to achieve defined target.
• Aptitude to work on different project at the same time
• Aptitude to work in team
• Sense of organization, creativity, analytical capacity and problem solving
• Interpersonal skills
• Languages: Italian and English as a must, German and French as a plus
