Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor

Aufgaben

As a lead auditor, providing independent and objective assurance to senior management and the Head of Group Internal Audit to support them in making informed decisions / Planning and conducting independent and objective internal audits within the Asset & Wealth Management division / Assessing the design and operational effectiveness of controls, identifying risks and evaluating findings to ensure lean banking operations and robust processes with the highest level of security / Supporting forensic audits to identify potential irregularities, control gaps or compliance risks / Carrying out quality controls on key operational processes and internal controls / Monitoring the implementation of measures / Reviewing governance and supervisory structures to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, and to guarantee proper documentation and regulatory compliance / Preparing audit documentation, recording findings and contributing to audit reports and recommendations / Participating in special investigations and projects / Acting as a sparring partner for management.

Qualifikation

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance or Economics / CPA or CIA certification and familiarity with the regulatory framework / Strong work ethic / Professional experience at an international bank in the field of internal audit or at a leading audit firm, with experience as an assistant manager or manager in the field of banking audit / In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and concepts and internal controls, as well as experience in conducting audits and leading audit teams / Strong analytical skills combined with a team- and service-oriented approach / Hands-on approach and an interest in working on complex international audit projects / Attention to detail and the ability to assess issues and communicate professionally when working under time pressure / Structured, independent working style / IT skills, particularly in the use of banking software and Microsoft Office / German and English.
