Zürich based - Senior Consultant, AI/ML

We are looking for ambitious and passionate AI/ML Senior Consultants to join our fast-growing Zürich office and help develop AI-driven solutions. You will work on building machine learning models, generative AI applications, and automation tools to address key challenges in direct tandem with our healthcare & life sciences clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Consultant to drive the design, development, and deployment of data science, machine learning, and AI solutions at scale. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and proven consulting capabilities to guide and support teams in delivering innovative solutions that drive business value. Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a strong plus, as many of our use cases involve HCP engagement, clinical development process optimization, real-world evidence, patient outcomes, and commercial analytics. Also, hands-on experience with MLOps and the launch of AI/ML solutions to production in real-world environments using cloud technologies is a big plus. Therefore, you should be open-minded and curious to learn new technologies. Ideally, you match all or most of the following attributes: * Educational background within Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field. * Solid grasp of statistics foundations. * 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI solution delivery - preferably from consulting. * Proficiency in Python and associated data science/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas). * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks) for building and deploying AI solutions. * Experience in implementing ML solutions at scale in the cloud, covering the full lifecycle: data ingestion, model development, training, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and governance. * Knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and retraining strategies. * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic understanding. * Familiarity with LLMs, vector databases, and RAG techniques. * Fluency in English, German, or French in addition would be a plus. * Availability for on-site presence in Zürich. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in or with the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry (clinical, medical, commercial, or supply chain use cases). What will be your key responsibilities? Intellishore is a cross-functional consultancy where you will represent the data science competencies. Here you will be responsible for (among other things): * Project Delivery & Strategy o Drive projects with a small cross-functional team (data scientists, ML engineers, and strategy consultants) o Partner with stakeholders to identify business opportunities where advanced analytics and AI can deliver measurable impact. o Define best practices for delivering scalable AI solutions across the entire lifecycle, from experimentation to production. * Solution Development & Deployment o Design and implement machine learning and AI models using Python and modern ML libraries. o Oversee deployment of solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, or Databricks) with a focus on scalability and reliability. o Ensure solutions are production-ready, secure, and compliant with industry standards. * MLOps & Lifecycle Management o Build and maintain end-to-end MLOps pipelines including CI/CD automation, model versioning, performance monitoring, and retraining workflows. o Implement data and model drift detection strategies, along with automated retraining triggers. o Establish best practices for monitoring, alerting, and continuous improvement of production ML systems. * Innovation & Upskilling o Stay ahead of industry trends in AI/ML, cloud platforms, and automation frameworks. o Drive adoption of emerging technologies to enhance model accuracy, speed, and business applicability. o Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI team.
