Altogether, PSI employs 2300 people. /p h3Postdoctoral Fellow – innovative ore processing /h3 pYou will conduct both basic and applied research based on powder diffraction methods. Your main tasks are: /p ul liResearch on mechanochemical activation of phosphate ores /li liDevelop and improve existing data pipeline at the ADDAMS beamline, with a focus on combined XRD and XRF workflows, particularly for industrial applications /li liAssist beamline users /li liPublish research results and present them at relevant scientific meetings and conferences /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liPhD degree in Geology, Material Science, or a related field /li liHands on experience with diffraction methods XRD, in particular with powder diffraction, and possibly X-ray fluorescence XRF /li liExperience with synchrotron experiments is an advantage /li liStrong computing skills, being able to program in Python /li liFluent in both written and spoken English /li /ul h3We offer /h3 pOur institution is based on an interdisciplinary, innovative and dynamic collaboration.
