As member of the division management and a direct reporting line to the CEO, this person will manage: /p ul liStrategic and operational management of the RD center with complete responsibility for budget and results /li liA multidisciplinary RD team of mechanical, electrical, hardware and software teams /li liAnalyzing new, innovative technologies and assessing their applicability in the industry /li liDefinition of the development roadmap in close collaboration with Product Management /li liSteering of all development projects worldwide from the idea up to the market readiness under consideration of the critical time to market and budget targets /li liSecuring the technological know-how within the group through detailed documentation and appropriate training and education measures /li liClose collaboration with internal as well as external stakeholders /li liResponsibility for patents and certifications /li liContinuous improvement of the RD processes /li /ul h3The Successful Applicant /h3 ul liMaster's degree in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering, PhD is a very nice to have /li liAt least 10 years of experience in a similar (international) function /li liProven leadership capacity managing multidisciplinary teams (60+ fte) /li liDriven by passion to further develop technological and quality leadership /li liEnergetic, charismatic personality driven by scientific curiosity and fighting spirit to get ideas done /li liAs innovator you can think out of the box with a structured and target focused working style /li liEntrepreneurial mind-set and strength in conceptional and analytical thinking /li liFlexibility for international commuting /li liFluent in English, German is a nice to have /li /ul h3What's on Offer /h3 pA senior leadership role with significant autonomy and influence within a high-performing, international business.
