Desktop Sales Specialist

ph3Job Purpose /h3 pICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents the unique opportunity for a full‑time Sales Specialist to join a team responsible for surpassing sales quotas and helping clients and prospects understand how ICE technology can help enable their workflow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training and growing the customer base on the ICE Connect product suite and will work with front / middle / back office professionals across the Energy and Commodities space. The ICE Connect product suite includes ICE IM/Chat, QuoteBoard, ICE Options and Analytics and the ICE Connect Desktop. /p pThis role is ideally suited to a self‑motivated individual who relishes being at the forefront of business activities and thrives on his or her own successes and those of the team. A strong communicator with a good knowledge of the market data and trading environment from content, technology and networking perspective is required. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liResponsible for supporting the ICE Connect suite of products (primarily ICE IM, ICE Connect, WebICE and ICE Options Analytics) within an assigned territory (and/or assigned accounts). /li liBecome an expert on the ICE Connect Product suite. /li liMaintain relationships with existing users through trainings, floor walks, Web Ex sessions as well as become the “go to” person for all account enquiries... /li liDecrease erosion within existing accounts through training and account analysis. /li liCollaborate with sales on both pre and post sales activities. /li liProvide technical subject matter support across ICE Connect product suite. /li liUncover leads for sales through daily activates. /li liAbility to work effectively on Excel and build bespoke spreadsheets for clients. /li liStrong Excel skills with ability to do basic coding, use VBA and have a knowledge of API solutions. /li liManage new client roll‑outs and user set ups. /li liManage new feature roll‑outs and projects for all ICE Connect applications. /li liAct as a liaison between sales, clients and product management including information on competitors and product feature requests. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor Degree or equivalent work experience is required. /li liAbility to use Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Outlook, Salesforce, Instant Messaging, and desktop trading/execution/market data systems. /li liUnderstand key target industries, trends in industry, and emerging technologies. /li liFrench and English fluent. /li /ul h3Additional Skills /h3 ul liAdditional knowledge of Capital Markets (Exchange and/or OTC) and derivatives. /li liAny prior exposure to the Exchange or OTC lifecycle of a trade. /li liStrong knowledge of Python and Excel. /li liWorking knowledge of internetworking and various LAN/WAN technologies. /li liWorking knowledge of router, switch, firewall, and proxy technologies. /li liApache, Akamai (CDN), DNS, LDAP, MySQL. /li /ul h3Compensation /h3 pThe expected base salary for this role is between 100,000 - 160,000 CHF. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on objective and gender‑neutral criteria including skillset, qualifications and experience of the individual.
