ph3Resident Doctor – Oncology Chemotherapy Day Unit /h3 pLocation: London, 95-97 Harley Street LOC, London W1G 6AF /p pFacility: Leaders in Oncology Care /p pContract Type: Permanent, Part Time or Full Time /p pShifts: Weekdays only 8:00am - 6:00pm or 10:00am - 8:00pm /p pSalary: £78,000 - £87,000 depending on experience. /p h3About The Role /h3 pWe are seeking a dedicated Resident Doctor in Oncology to join the expert medical team at LOC, Leaders in Oncology Care, part of HCA Healthcare UK network. In this pivotal role, you’ll work within a specialist oncology service. You’ll collaborate closely with world‑class consultants, oncology nurses, and multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional, patient‑centred care. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your oncology expertise in a state‑of‑the‑art private hospital setting that combines advanced technology, research innovation, and a strong focus on clinical excellence. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liYou will provide medical cover to the outpatient chemotherapy day unit. /li liYou will also be responsible for checking outpatient prescriptions and protocols and approving medication. You will establish great relationships with a large pool of outpatients, as well as work closely with world‑renowned experts within the medical field. /li liSuccessful candidates will work within a team of oncology specialists to develop a personalised private patient treatment plan, tailored towards patient unique needs and diagnosis. /li liYou will deliver an integrative approach to cancer care that supports patients physical, emotional and spiritual needs in the outpatients setting. /li liAs the specialist doctor on shift you will be responsible for medically assess patients receiving chemotherapy treatment and manage any emergencies which may arise with the guidance of the consultant in charge. /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 ul libFull GMC Registration and Licence to Practise in the UK /b /li libFull MRCP qualification /b /li liProven experience (minimum 3 years) managing oncology patients /li liA commitment to teamwork, compassionate care, and delivering a first‑class patient experience /li liMotivation to develop within the role as our cancer services continue to expand. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liFor 40 hours full‑time contracts, 264 hours holiday each year (inclusive of bank holidays) increasing with service, with option to buy or sell leave to suit you.
