For one of our clients operating in the industrial/pharmaceutical sector, we are looking for a Project Supply Chain Coordinator (Expediting) to support ongoing CAPEX projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the material and package reporting systems are accurately maintained and updated in the Web PMP (Project Procurement Plan) for assigned packages.
  • Monitor and ensure the On Time Delivery (OTD) of expediting packages meet departmental KPI targets.
  • Collect, review, and share Supplier Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Notify suppliers promptly regarding delayed MPRs to facilitate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for expediting interventions and issue resolution.
  • Share weekly expediting intervention plans with project stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Support order management processes, including processing invoices related to expediting activities.
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports to provide insights and updates for departmental decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations on-site and remotely.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain expediting or project procurement.
  • Previous experience with CAPEX projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Data analytics and reporting skills to generate actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Ability to work both on-site at Visp or Stein and remotely from home office (minimum 3 days on-site per week).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on timely delivery and quality.
