LNG Originator / Senior LNG Originator

ppbJob Description /b /p /pliMid/long-term deal origination, structuring, execution management /liliMarket access focal point for the assigned region’s counterparties /liliOriginate LNG (including natural gas component, if any) mid to long-term transactions (i.e., 3 years and beyond) from KYC to gathering intel to structuring termsheets to execution, including negotiating and contracting terms in coordination with external and internal teams that are aligned with MET LNG strategy /liliLeverage and maintain excellent relationships with external players to provide intel and identify opportunities for new transactions /liliSupport structuring of related hedges/trades and capacity positions with internal team(s) /liliAny ad hoc duties /lippbQualifications /b /p /pliExperience in LNG and/or natural gas origination with min 4 years related commercial analysis and/or origination experience and ability to apply to a wide range of scenarios /liliExperience drafting, negotiating and executing mid/long term LNG and/or natural gas contracts /liliStrong attention to detail especially when it comes to transaction structuring and modelling /liliShows a desire to continually improve and innovate in analytical approaches/methodologies /liliExperience drafting board proposals and C level decks /liliStrong network within LNG industry a plus /liliStrong network with upstream US companies a plus /liliExcellent problem-solving ability, creative in finding alternative solutions /liliIndependent thinker but able to work well with others in a team /liliGeographical focus shall be global, and other ad hoc in line with LNG desk requirement /liliRequires close/daily coordination with internal colleagues other MET Group subsidiaries /li
