The organization is seeking a Chief Financial Officer Business Unit CFO for the leading business unit of the Group who will act as a key member of the Leadership Team. The person will provide strategic financial input to decision making, safeguarding financial performance, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and embedding a strong risk management culture. /p h3Job Description /h3 ul liThe CFO will serve as a strategic finance leader and trusted advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, contributing to business strategy, performance targets, and long‑term value creation. /li liLead all financial aspects of a large‑scale cement manufacturing operation, including cost control, logistics economics, depreciation, and capital‑intensive asset management. /li liOversee consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring across multiple countries and legal entities. /li liEnsure robust governance, compliance, and internal control standards aligned with Group policies and local regulatory requirements. /li liPlay a key role in post‑merger integration activities and support MA projects, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and execution. /li liActively contribute to leadership and culture development, fostering a high‑performance environment focused on purpose, people, and results. /li liLead and develop the finance organisation, ensuring strong succession planning, capability building, and internal promotion from the home market. /li liRepresent the finance function in Group‑level leadership forums, including top‑leader meetings and executive development programmes. /li /ul h3The Successful Applicant /h3 pThe successful candidate would have: /p ul liMinimum of 15+ years financial leadership experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment, ideally with asset heavy operations. /li liUniversity degree in Finance or similar field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or chartered Accountant are an advantage /li liProven experience with International Digital transformation projects /li liDeep expertise in financial control, accounting, treasury, tax, risk management, internal controls and MA post‑merger integration. /li liStrong business acumen with the ability to contribute to strategic decision making beyond finance. /li liProven experience working within Group, regional, and corporate governance structures /li liAdvanced understanding of financial reporting standards, budgeting, performance management, and compliance. /li liStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross functional collaboration skills. /li liAdvantage to have experience with decarbonisation projecs /li liAssertive and disciplined approach to enforcing financial processes while maintaining collaborative partnerships. /li liFluent in German and English.
