StellenbeschreibungppApplications will be accepted beginning bTuesday, November 18, :00 AM /b (Central Standard Time). /p h3Position Title /h3 pSpeech‑Language Pathologist – SLP /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s Degree (SLP) /li liMissouri State Licensure through the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts (SLP) /li liAmerican Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (preferred) /li liClinical Fellowship Year (CFY‑SLP) applicants are welcome to apply; ability to pass a background check in accordance with district and DESE policies. /li /ul h3Reports To /h3 pSpecial Education Director and/or Building Principal /p h3General Responsibilities /h3 ul liStudent screenings for determination of speech/language evaluation needs /li liSpeech/language evaluations and interpretation of results /li liDevelopment of Individual Education Plans (IEP) and implementation of treatment /li liMaintenance of progress notes for progress monitoring and reporting /li liCollaborate with teachers to implement classroom activities and supports to promote speech and language skills of students /li liProvide staff development and support related to speech and language functioning of students /li liDemonstrate effective and positive interpersonal relationships with staff, students, and community /li liMust be able to collaborate effectively with peers, possess a positive attitude and be flexible with change /li liOther duties as assigned by your supervisor /li /ul h3Other Job Functions /h3 ul liAbide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations /li liAttend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors /li liTake all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities /li liMaintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation /li liServe on committees as assigned /li liRemain current on instructional practices in education /li /ul h3Terms of Employment /h3 pAnnual contract for school year and Extended School Year, if applicable, in accordance with the provisions of Board of Education policy on evaluation of certified staff. /p pBackground clearance required; the results of which must be satisfactory to the District. /p h3Evaluation /h3 pPerformance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board of policy on Evaluation of Certified Personnel. /p pApplications will be screened as they are submitted.
