The firm stands out for its ability to lead ambitious and demanding projects with a committed approach to sustainable development. Driven by a development dynamic, notably through a major residential neighbourhood project in the Yverdon-les-Bains region and the construction of a technologically oriented building on the EPFL campus, our client is now commissioning us to identify individuals ready to actively contribute to the success of its projects, in the role of
Construction Manager
Leading ambitious projects, from execution to delivery
Your responsibilities
Integrated into the construction management team, you work on large-scale projects, both in housing and on complex, technically demanding developments. Depending on your profile and experience, you take charge of managing all or part of the works (shell and core, fit-out, or specific trades) and ensure the monitoring of the execution phase, in close coordination with the project teams and contractors. In this capacity, you are responsible for respecting costs, deadlines, and quality, track the progress of the sites, and ensure good coordination of the companies involved. You also intervene during the tender phases when necessary and provide your technical expertise to guarantee the smooth running of operations. Present on site, you play a key role in the success of the projects and actively contribute to maintaining a high level of quality in their execution.
Your profile
With proven experience in construction management, you have participated in large-scale construction projects and master the challenges related to the execution phase. Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, you demonstrate rigour, organisation, and method in monitoring your sites. Your sense of responsibility, pragmatism, and decision-making ability allow you to manage contingencies effectively and advance projects. You enjoy teamwork and naturally integrate into a collaborative environment. Ideally, you have gained your experience in Switzerland, within an architectural firm, a general or total contractor, or a company specialised in construction management, and are thus familiar with local practices. With a background in architecture or engineering (or equivalent), you are proficient in common project management tools (MS Project, Messerli).
