Electronics Technician – PCB Layout & Hardware Testing

Role Overview

We are looking for an Electronics Technician with experience in PCB design and PCB layout to support the development and troubleshooting of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic hardware systems. This role combines hands-on PCB layout work with schematic updates and close collaboration with engineering teams.
This role is based in Glattbrugg in the Zurich area of Switzerland, working closely with our hardware engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout complex mixed-signal printed circuit boards (PCBs)

• Maintain and update electronic schematics and circuit documentation

• Perform hardware debugging, electronics testing, and circuit analysis

• Troubleshooting, debugging, and repairing PCBs and electronic hardware

• Support prototype validation and hardware bring-up

• Collaborate with hardware engineers and electronics development teams

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Education as an Electronics Technician, Electrical Technician, or similar technical training

• Hands-on experience with PCB layout, PCB design, or electronic hardware development

• Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics

• Candidates with practical experience in PCB design or electronics hardware troubleshooting are encouraged to apply.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Altium Designer or other PCB layout tools
• Knowledge of RF or microwave technology
• Ability to communicate in English within a technical environment
