Carpenter and Carpenter's Assistant

For our various clients, we are looking, for long-term temporary assignments, with the possibility of permanent employment for several:

Carpenter and Carpenter's Assistant

• Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
• You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the trade.
• In good physical condition
• Versatile and autonomous
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• French spoken, read, written
• Driving licence and vehicle
• Work on new build/renovation sites
• Mark out references on wood and cut various components (framework, joisting, window frames, etc.)
• Shape wood pieces: sawing, mortising, planing, notching, drilling, etc.
• Treat, impregnate and varnish wood to protect it against pests, moisture and the

weather

• Assemble, fit and adjust framework and building structure elements according to the established plan
• Install wall and ceiling coverings, stairs, balconies, window connections, insulation panels, timber framing, etc.
• Apply protective coatings, install thermal and acoustic insulation
• Sanitise and maintain framework and wooden parts during renovation work
