We are looking for a Digital Buyer – Fashion & Accessories (E-Commerce) 100% in Basel Headquarters (hybrid, 4 days per week in-office) as of 01.04.2025 to support our omnichannel buying team with digital-specific expertise. This role will focus on tailoring our online assortment, ensuring the right product mix, optimizing stock availability, and working closely with internal teams to accelerate digital sales.

Your Tasks
- You work alongside the fashion & accessories buyers to ensure that the online assortment is optimized for digital sales.
- You provide data-driven insights to influence buying decisions and expand our e-commerce range.
- You identify online-exclusive product opportunities, trends, and gaps within the digital assortment.
- You optimize product selection, depth, and online-exclusive brands in alignment with customer demand and digital trends.
- You monitor online sales performance, identify fast- and slow-moving items, and adjust buying recommendations accordingly.
- You leverage digital analytics tools to track online consumer behavior, seasonality, and product performance, ensuring an optimized product lifecycle.
- You work with existing brand partners to develop online-exclusive selections and pre-order strategies.
- You support negotiations with suppliers to improve online availability, exclusive product launches, and delivery timelines for digital sales channels.
- You partner with the e-commerce, marketing, and merchandising teams to align product launches, pricing strategies, and promotions with digital marketing initiatives.
- You ensure seamless integration of products into the digital channel, including product descriptions, imagery, and online merchandising standards.
your profile
You have 5+ years of experience in fashion buying, merchandising, or category management, with a strong digital focus (experience at a retailer or digital fashion pure player is ideal).You have strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital merchandising, and online sales analytics to inform buying decisions.You have excellent insight into Swiss fashion trends, customer expectations, and competitive online retail dynamics.You have experience in working with suppliers and vendors, ensuring the best terms and digital-first product strategies.You are able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (omnichannel buyers, digital marketing, e-commerce, logistics).You have ability to interpret online sales trends and adjust strategies to optimize digital success.You speak fluent German and good French; Italian is a plus.What we offer
