Short Description
We are seeking an experienced international Project Manager to manage the AO Milestones program delivery, ensuring timely delivery across multiple workstreams. Working closely with the AO Milestones Program Owner and an international project team, the Project Manager will drive operational excellence, manage diverse stakeholders, and establish project management standards and build capabilities across the AO Education Institute. The role requires expertise in project management methodologies (such as Scrum, Agile, Kanban) with a preference for candidates experienced in the educational sector.
Main Responsibilities
- Together with the Product owner, develop project management processes that support product development and efficient life cycle management with focus on innovation, business value and quality.
- Support the product owner in developing and implementing project management framework to be scalable across the organization.
- Oversee the successful delivery of the AO Milestones project goals, managing complex workstreams with diverse global stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional (curriculum design, platform development and implementation) to ensure project success.
- Drive strategic project goals and process improvements to enhance AO Milestones' competitiveness in the global medical education market.
- Ensure the integration of human-centered design principles into all program phases.
- Introduce agile project management, visual project management, and other effective project management methods.
- Accountable to Manage project timelines, risks, and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Monitor program KPIs to ensure performance aligns with business and educational objectives.
Main Requirements
Bachelor's degree in project management, education, or a related field.Project management education, PMP or similar certifications, and training in change management preferred.Proven track record in international project management, preferably in the educational sector or medical devices.Strong preference for an independent, proactive, and goal-oriented work approach to apply expertise and foster collaboration in achieving fast-paced goals in line with management expectations and project timelines.Extensive experience managing cross-functional teams in matrix organizations.Strong expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies.Focus on targets and results, showing a high level of endurance, tolerance, and resilience.Advanced stakeholder management skills.Strategic and operational mindset with the ability to balance competing priorities.Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and their application in educational projects.Ability to navigate and manage complex stakeholder landscapesProficiency in EnglishThis is a temporary role, until 31.12.2026
