Digital Design Engineer
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION :
You will be the lead Digital Design Engineer in our Switzerland-based ASIC R&D team, designing the digital systems and building blocks for MEMS microphones.
Together with the analog / mixed-signal designers, project managers, test development engineers and other team members, you will be developing high-performance, low-power ASICs from concept to high-volume production
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work out the digital architecture and design specification in collaboration with the project team
- Perform RTL design & synthesis and supervise RTL-to-GDS
- Work out the digital verification plan
- Verify the digital system and blocks in collaboration with the digital verification engineer
- Develop low-power audio signal processing architectures
POSITION / TRAINING REQUIREMENTS :
- Degree in electronic engineering or related field
- 4+ years of proven track record in developing digital blocks / systems for high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits in a consumer or industrial R&D environment
- Good understanding of the entire digital design flow and DFT
- Hands-on experience in designing low-power digital circuits
- Experience with sigma delta ADCs or audio signal processing is an advantage
- Solid knowledge in EDA tools such as Cadence (Conformal, Genus, Tempus etc.)
- Structured and methodological approach
- Strong team player
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English
