Our common goal

In this strategic leadership role, you will drive Vitra's annual strategy process and oversee the execution of key projects within the "Planet Vitra" portfolio.

Working closely with business leaders, you’ll prioritize and deliver projects aligned with Vitra’s goals, foster digital transformation, and streamline processes across functions.

You will manage a team of six project managers and process experts.

What can you expect?

• Steer Vitra’s strategic project portfolio Planet Vitra Manage the portfolio of strategic projects, from definition through to successful delivery Oversee and prioritize projects with business leads, considering strategic objectives and financial aspects Monitor portfolio for realization of benefits, timeliness and delivery quality
• Develop strategic roadmaps at group and functional level, considering strategic priorities and feasibility
• Drive continuous improvements and strategic cross-functional transformation projects, incl. hands-on project management and delivery Drive holistic improvements across functions, processes, data, and systems in collaboration with business and IT Drive assessment, implementation and adaption of digital technologies (e.g. AI, RPA)
• Engage with key stakeholders to achieve strategic goals, represent strategic initiatives on different levels of the organization, incl.

executive committees and BoD, act as an interface between business and IT

Steer Vitra’s risk management process, setting standards and governance, ensuring mitigation of material risks by functional areas

How you can convince

• Extensive experience in managing cross-functional transformation projects as well as managing multiple, concurrent projects in dynamic settings with shifting priorities
• Holistic understanding of organizations and end-to-end processes, especially within Vitra or other manufacturing companies.
• Strategic mindset with a strong business and technology acumen
• Passion for IT- and data-driven topics (e.g. IT architectures, SAP, data quality management)
• Enthusiasm for shaping new operating models
• Exceptional analytical skills, complex problem-solving ability, and holistic thinking
• Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with diverse audiences and organizational levels
• Experienced in leading diverse, senior-level teams
• Service-oriented approach with diligence and high reliability
