Technical Sales Engineer Integrated Photonics
The purpose of this position is to provide an excellent customer experience by offering pre- and post-sales technical support, strengthen the sales team, technical marketing and business development.
Tasks
Technical Engineering & Solutions
- Translate customer needs into workable solutions.
- Discuss and define SoW (Statement of Work) with customers, prospects, and project partners.
- Proof of concept PIC design studies and PIC Layouts.
- Provide technical customer support during the whole sales cycle (pre-sales to after-sales), including explaining technology details.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering / R&D) to develop tailored solutions.
Sales & Account Management
Cultivate positive customer relationships and act as the primary customer interface.Manage the sales pipeline in CRM and achieve sales targets.Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and project partners.Strategy & Market Intelligence
Contribute to the marketing strategy with content and activities (talks, application notes, press releases, webinars).Understand and analyze market trends and requirements.Requirements
Highly customer and solution-oriented mindset.3+ years hands on experience in integrated optics or PhD in integrated opticsIndustry experience of 3+ years in technical sales, application engineering or similar role is a big plusProven track record of meeting sales targets in technical environment is a plusPrevious customer interaction is a plusAbility to translate customer needs to clear specificationsHands-on experience with integrated photonics software tools is a plusExcellent technical problem-solving skillsOpen minded, communicative, critical, and innovativeFlexible in working on different tasks and with different teamsAbility to work in a team and independently.Working proficiency in English.Benefits
