THE POSITION

We are looking for a Financial - Commercial Analyst to join the Financial Analysis department, which supports the organization of MSC Cargo.

The responsibilities of the department are to provide financial analyses to Management Liners and Planning, assist to improve overall profitability.

YOUR IMPACT

The Financial - Commercial Analyst will :

• Analyze MSC Trades and Services. Examine all aspects of it : operational, commercial, financial to derive profitability drivers.
• Based on the analysis above : suggest ways to improve profitability to the relevant stakeholders.
• Simulate net result for new or modified services. Analyse results and present them to Management or Liners.
• Estimate the preliminary voyage profitability as soon as vessels call the last port of load.
• Assist Liners in benchmarking customers’ value, either globally or trade specific.
• Complete monthly business analysis requested by Management.
