Our company is a successfully growing global commodities trading company, specialised in the procurement, distribution, and trading of various base- and precious metal bearing concentrates and refined metals. Traffic Coordinator 100%

Tasks

Key areas / Responsibility :

  • Draft and review sales and purchase contracts - and amendments
  • Prepare and submit commercial invoices to receivers / suppliers, organize settlement of invoices in coordination
  • Organize container-, truck shipments of concentrates including storage
  • Opening and checking of L / C’s for our receivers, requesting amendments and negotiating documents for collection of payment
  • Coordinating operations with the local logistics companies / agents, following up daily warehouse transfer reports, stock controls and independent inspections
  • Arranging independent supervision of loading and discharging operations as well as weighing, sampling and moisture determination operations
  • Providing instructions to the laboratories for assaying and umpire, arranging assay exchanges with suppliers and receivers
  • Insuring risks of each transport as well as material in storage
  • Monitoring profit and loss calculations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, banks, logistics providers and other stakeholders

Requirements

Qualifications :

  • 2-5 years of experience in an international environment in Traffic / Logistics within the commodities trading industry.
  • Fluency in English and preferably German, further languages (Spanish) are of advantage.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across different levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
