Your role
Based in Geneva as part of a global team your role as ESG Analyst will include the following main duties :
Governance and reporting (60%)
- Support ESG Manager in meeting relevant regulatory requirements e.g. CSRD
- Prepare documents e.g. ESG report / sustainability statements
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency gains and to meet audit recommendations
- Further document processes / procedures to support non-financial audit trails
- Support with the annual double materiality assessment and EU taxonomy alignment
- Suggest action plans assist implementation prepare training materials for internal & external stakeholders
Data collection and analysis (20%)
Support Vitol departments in optimising ESG data collection processesEnsure data submitted to Vitol KPI reporting platform by investment companies is accurate and up to dateConduct analysis of ESG and GHG data : benchmarking interpreting results benchmarking executive reportingAd hoc support (20%)
Provide analytical support across other areas of ESGAd-hoc projectsQualifications :
Degree (or higher) in relevant subject e.g. Sustainability Finance Economics Computer Science Engineering1-3 years experience in an analytical role (incl. internships) e.g. audit consulting bankingAnalytical mindset quantitative excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills with superb attention to detailEntrepreneurial drive ability to work independently as well as in a teamExcellent problem-solving skills able to find pragmatic solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills ability to convey complex concepts in simple termsFull proficiency communicating in English in a business context (verbally and in writing)Additional Information :
