Chief Financial Officer - Real Estate Group, Switzerland

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with a deep background in real estate to oversee the financial operations of a dynamic Single Family Office. This role focuses on a significant portfolio of properties across Switzerland and Europe. The ideal candidate will combine high-level financial stewardship with hands-on oversight of real estate investments, acquisitions, and operational performance.

You will bring extensive expertise in Swiss real estate markets, a strong command of financial governance, and the discretion required to operate within a private family office environment.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Financial Oversight

• Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with family objectives.
• Advise on capital structure, tax optimization, and wealth preservation.

Real Estate Portfolio Management

• Oversee financial performance of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
• Evaluate new acquisitions, disposals, and development opportunities.
• Liaise with external property managers and legal counsel to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Experience in régie immobilière is essential.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record of success as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role, with substantial experience specifically in real estate.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing, acquiring, and divesting a diverse portfolio of properties.
• Extensive knowledge of Swiss real estate markets, including valuation, transaction, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong understanding of tax structures, cross-border transactions, and wealth planning.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French highly desirable.
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification preferred
