Due to our continued growth and as a replacement we are now hiring a Manufacturing Operations Manager Lachen for our Manufacturing in Lachen, Switzerland.
Long Description
As Manufacturing Operations Manager Lachen , you will lead the end-to-end operations of our Filling, Assembly, and Compounding departments, overseeing a team of 80-100 employees. Your mission : to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost targets are not only met but exceeded. You’ll be a key driver of continuous improvement, team empowerment, and strategic alignment with our global manufacturing model.
Your Main Responsibilities Include :
- Lead daily operations across Filling, Assembly and Compounding.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
- Develop and execute annual plans and budgets aligned with business goals.
- Roadmap & Target Achievement : Develop a clear roadmap to reach yearly targets, translating strategic objectives into actionable steps and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, TPM, and OpEx principles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, QA, HR, Finance, and Logistics.
- Coach and develop your team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- SOP Leadership : Lead and own work instructions and SOPs together with the team, ensuring compliance, clarity, and alignment with regulatory requirements; provide regular updates and ensure readiness for audits.
- OMP Ownership : Take full ownership for the Operational Masterplan (OMP) of F&A ensuring visibility, tracking, and delivery of performance commitments.
- Problem Solving & Maintenance : Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to address process deviations and equipment issues, while strengthening preventive and autonomous maintenance skills across the team.
- Change Leadership : Act as a change agent in transformation projects, promoting engagement, knowledge transfer, and sustainable results within the team.
- Best Practice Sharing : Share learnings, improvements, and best practices to foster knowledge exchange, standardization, and global collaboration across sites.
- Support new product launches and strategic site initiatives.
- Champion ELC values and act as a cultural ambassador across the plant.
