Operator Biofuels (Liquids) / Feedstock Execution

Tasks

Your Tasks

Your responsibilities includes to be in regular contact with internal departments as trading, demurrage and terminals and external contacts as suppliers / customers / ship-owners / barge owners / tank terminals / surveyors / field offices.

Your daily tasks :

  • Inform LSP’s and terminals (load and discharge)
  • Consult traders about contract positions
  • Send nominations to suppliers and others
  • Create and Process B / L’s and CoA’s
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve future issues and changing market conditions.
  • Daily coordination of the Biofuels operations of external terminals
  • Daily communication with stakeholders PQ&Q, Trade, Plan-team, Operations to ensure the full use of the Biofuels activities
  • Proactively signal bottlenecks and anticipate on it
  • Report deviations to Bio & Trade in case of issues
  • Assign inspectors
  • Ensure optimal planning and organizing of the available contracts with a view to all different facets within the Biofuels market.
  • Process and approve invoice

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Commercial education and experience in logistics and shipping
  • 3 - 10 years of experience as Traffic Operator with Biofuels or other petrochemical products
  • Liquid cargo experience (barges)
  • excellent business English with clear and concise writing skills, German is an asset
  • strong clear communication skills
  • Strong personality, capable of building working relationships in an international environment
  • self-motivated, results-oriented problem solver
