You will be responsible for executing category strategies that deliver market leading and cost-effective solutions to the business. In this context you will lead independently, conduct sourcing events on related projects in translation and reflection of the overall category strategy. This includes also giving active guidance to Buyers in the Global Value Delivery team in the regions in response to operational procurement needs for related products and services in the regions.
You will be closely working with the Global Category Lead, business stakeholders and functional SMEs to actively manage addressable supplier spend. You will also be responsible for the supplier relationship management associated with the vendors in scope and report to the Global Category Lead Professional Services & Human Capital.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Execute sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ) for the category Professional Services aimed at delivering value to the business whilst leveraging spend, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) and developing supplier relationships
Engage and collaborate with relevant business stakeholders from Markets / IWMS, IT, Operations, Finance, Corporate Services, Marketing, Sustainability, CEO Office, Risk Management, HR, the Regions and other functional stakeholders and SMEs in BJB during sourcing events and projects
Manage, leverage and challenge existing supplier landscape in close co operation with the business and Global Category Lead
Align with the Global Category Lead in the execution of the category strategy and to actively contribute in the regular updating of category strategies
Lead supplier and internal communication with the aim to develop and improve performance and deliver value for all parties
Demonstrate expertise in the development of all types of documents in the responsible categories and sourcing activity
Draft and negotiate contracts, partly based on standard templates
Execute contracts in line with the Bank’s processes & regulations, conduct debriefs with unsuccessful suppliers
Create transparency around the sourcing agenda and actively develop a pipeline for the relevant categories in scope
Contribute with a fair individual share to the Procurement Contribution targets (Cost Savings / Cost Avoidance)
Give active guidance and advise on category execution for the operational procurement activities in scope of the Regional Value Delivery teams
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Engineering or similar relevant field
Recognised industry professional qualification (CIPS, CPA, CIMA, procure.ch or additional education / experience)
- 10 years relevant (indirect) procurement experience, preferably in the financial services industry
Proven experience of execution of sourcing events and orchestrating operational teams of internal and external stakeholders
Know-how of Professional Services market and applicable laws & regulations
Team player who is open-minded, hands-on, a critical strategic thinker and has strong problem solving skills
Profound interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated with demanding vendors and various internal stakeholders on a daily basis
Business fluent in English and German (written and spoken), other local languages are a plus
Very good presentation and analytical skills
MS Office mastery especially PowerPoint, Excel and relevant S2P tools
Preferred
SAP or other experience across Source-to-Pay modules
Knowledge in data protection and financial market regulations
