Job description :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced DBA Line Manager to lead a team of database administrators, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle database, SQL Server, MySQL database management, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies, with a proven track record in managing and mentoring technical teams.

• Team Leadership and Management :

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DBAs to achieve organizational objectives Oversee workload distribution, performance evaluations, and professional development Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture

Oversee the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases (on-premise and cloud environments) Ensure database security, availability, and performance optimization Plan and execute database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures

Implement and manage Oracle database solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Lead cloud migration initiatives, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance Leverage cloud-native tools for database monitoring and automation

Integrate DevOps practices into database management processes Automate database deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using CI / CD pipelines and configuration management tools Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless database operations within agile workflows

Define and execute database strategies aligned with business goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in Oracle database management, cloud solutions, and DevOps

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, organizational policies, and security standards Implement governance frameworks for database operations and cloud resources
