This position reports to:

Procurement Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the entire warehouse area. You will lead the team in the day-to-day process, ensure efficient warehouse processes and ensure a smooth flow of goods across all interfaces. They drive continuous improvement and play a key role in developing employees and ensuring quality and budget compliance.

The working model for the role is: on-site

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

They are mainly responsible for:

Management and development of the warehouse team
including annual skills reviews and role-specific training.
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations
and monitors all material flows (inbound, warehouse, outbound, internal) as well as warehouse equipment.
Optimization of warehouse processes
Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and continuous improvement actions.
Execute inventory and budget responsibilities
including quarterly commodity counts, annual complete inventory, required reporting and annual budgeting

Qualifications for the role

Completed basic vocational training in the logistics sector (logistics specialist EFZ) and further training in logistics
Several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics and in a management position.
Experience in reporting tasks
Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of written and spoken English
Very good knowledge of ERP, SAP and MS Office
Possession of a forklift driver's license SUVA-compliant, valid at the place of use.
Flexible, communicative, team-oriented and resilient personality who knows how to motivate and encourage employees
