Good knowledge of cybersecurity practices in a regulated environment. 10+ years of experience in C++, C#, .Net Core, Angular. Python programming is a plus. Experience in Lab Management Systems or Middleware preferred. Fully hands-on and is able to design, develop, test and deploy. Process drive development and able to measure code quality through code reviews and performance engineering. German speaking preferred. Experience working with medical or regulated products preferred. We are seeking a hands-on Principal Developer / Technical Lead to join our team.
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the technical roadmap and co-designing a middleware solution. You will contribute to the software and cybersecurity design, collaborate with stakeholders, and define the technical solutions that support our business strategies and processes.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and enforcement of technical best practices for on-premise middleware software solutions with a forward-looking mindset.
- Co-define and document software design, ensuring alignment with established standards and design patterns throughout implementation.
- Translate product requirements and business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Provide strategic direction and make high-level decisions throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and coach engineers and other technical team members to elevate technical quality and team performance.
- Establish and maintain coding and design standards.
- Act as a technical liaison between project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, quality, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Travel : Occasional travel (1–2 times per month) to a vendor site in Germany is required.
How You’ll Make an Impact
In this role, you will :
Co-develop software system designs and implementation plans, ensuring alignment with best practices, non-functional requirements, and the full SDLC within an Agile environment.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles to protect information and systems against threats and vulnerabilities, especially within regulated environments.
Provide strategic guidance and technical direction to development teams, promoting adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Work closely with IT, operations, and business leadership to ensure software and security strategies are in sync with organizational objectives.
Drive innovation by developing and presenting proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new ideas and technical solutions.
