We are looking for an Event Project Manager to join our team in Basel. Your Impact As an Event Project Manager, you will play a key role in designing, coordinating, and executing world-class international events that bring our vision to life. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and a diverse network of stakeholders to ensure our events deliver an exceptional and seamless experience for all involved. What You’ll Be Doing Event Strategy & Execution : Lead the planning and delivery of key events, ensuring smooth execution within established timelines and objectives. Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with artists, galleries, partners, and internal departments to bring creative concepts to life. Project & Budget Management : Oversee timelines, budgets, logistics, and track project performance while maintaining the highest quality and sustainability standards. Workstream Leadership : Lead and support specific workstreams such as invitation management, liaising with speakers and award winners, and coordinating key event elements. On-Site Leadership : Take charge during events, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all stakeholders. Vendor & Supplier Negotiation : Secure favorable terms and optimize resources by negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers. Innovation & Continuous Improvement : Stay ahead of trends in the cultural and events sector by continuously evaluating and refining formats to drive innovation and ensure sustained success. What You Bring Experience : At least 5 years in event or project management, ideally within the arts, culture, design, or luxury industries. Language Skills : English fluency is required; German and / or other languages are a plus. Tech-Savvy : Familiarity with CRM tools, project management software, and digital event solutions. Creative & Detail-Oriented : You balance big-picture thinking with meticulous execution. Agile & Solution-Oriented : You thrive in fast-paced environments and find creative solutions to challenges. Inclusive Mindset : You are committed to making events welcoming and accessible for all audiences. Financial Acumen : Experience managing budgets and optimizing financial resources.
