Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join an expanding organisation in the pharmaceutical sector. This company focuses on cutting-edge technologies to support business operations and is looking to bring more IT functions in-house to improve efficiency. The role involves managing a wide range of IT services, including Microsoft technologies and industry-specific software, while ensuring that the organisation’s infrastructure runs smoothly.
As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the IT needs of internal teams and infrastructure while navigating the challenges of a rapidly changing industry. You will report to the IT Officer and play a vital role in the company’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Optimise and maintain a Microsoft-based ecosystem, including Windows 11, virtualisation technologies, cloud solutions, and productivity tools.
Support industry-specific software solutions essential to business processes.
Empower employees to effectively use available technologies and help with data organisation.
Ensure security, performance, and reliability of network infrastructure.
Regularly test and maintain IT business continuity plans.
Oversee client deployment and manage IT policies following best practices.
Manage network infrastructure and ensure its ongoing security and performance.
Your Profile
3+ years of experience in IT, preferably within the pharmaceutical or regulated industries, with a strong understanding of systems validation and documentation.
Patient, approachable, and able to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
Expertise in Microsoft technologies and cloud-based services.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
A proactive, motivated individual with a commitment to professional growth.
Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Familiarity with industry-specific requirements and processes is a plus.
Proficiency in English and German; other languages are a bonus.
