Data engineer Jobs in Zürich

We are seeking a talented and motivated  Data Engineer  to join our  Heart Failure Division . In this role, you are mainly responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that allows for the collection, storage, and analysis of data and ensures data pipelines are efficient and reliable, enabling analysts to access and work with data seamlessly

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures in Data Lake environments.

Implement and optimize data models and ETL processes to support data analytics and reporting.

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize data insights.

Lead and manage data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Perform data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making processes in the medical device sector.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering, data science, and medical devices.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer.

Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R.

Demonstrated project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams and managing timelines.

Hands-on experience with Data Lake technologies (e.g., Azure Data Lake, AWS Lake Formation).

Experience with big data technologies is a plus.

Previous experience working in the medical device sector or healthcare industry.

In depth knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 requirements and experience ensuring compliance.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
