This Position reports to :

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the HSE & Facility team in the ABB Quartino factory, making sure the team keeps developing capabilities and skills, supporting the business in the implementation of policies, practices, and programs.

You will also showcase your expertise by driving behavioural change and HSE learning within the organization.

You will be the key figure within the organization, responsible for ensuring safety and health in our Manufacturing Unit, working closely with management to develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

The work model for the role is onsite : #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power business in Quartino, Switzerland.

You will be mainly accountable for :

• Support & Compliance : Guide managers and supervisors on HSE obligations, liabilities, and requirements, ensuring compliance and effective use of safety tools.
• Risk & Incident Management : Conduct risk assessments, maintain the Risk Assessment Document (DVR), report incidents, and monitor the effectiveness of safety measures.
• Training & Coordination : Train and inform employees on safety risks and procedures, coordinate emergency and first aid activities, and liaise with safety authorities and professionals.
• Performance, Sustainability & Facilities : Report on HSE performance, drive behavioral change, oversee sustainability initiatives, and lead facility management.
