As one of fastest-growing sportswear brand on the planet, On is gaining new fans with ever-increasing momentum. We are looking for an inspiring thought leader and practitioner in Corporate Communications to strengthen our expertise in this field - focusing specifically on the Swiss market.

In close collaboration with the Head of Communications DACH, you will help us to craft impactful corporate PR strategies that bring our regional priorities to life in earned media.

This role is an exciting challenge to help us define the next stage of how On is discovered and perceived in Switzerland.

Your Mission

• Build and manage relationships with news / business / financial media in Switzerland
• Develop strategies to enhance and protect On's corporate reputation in Switzerland
• Manage issues and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Contribute to the development of On's corporate narrative for the DACH region
• Partner with On's DACH Brand PR team to provide messaging support and assistance when required
• Leverage data and strategies to help inform On's corporate communications strategy

Your Story

• A real expert in your field, you've worked in the external Communications field for at least 7 years
• You have well established, working relationships with senior editorial contacts in Swiss business media and news outlets
• You have a deep understanding of the Swiss media and wider DACH business media and news market
• You are highly experienced in providing communications support to senior executives
• You thrive on placing in-depth stories and features in top tier business and financial media outlets
• You're able to build a succinct communications strategy and deliver against it
• A positive spirit, you guide, direct and inspire those around you. You see yourself as a partner to your teammates and want to help them achieve their true potential
• Truly business savvy, you're quick to understand and navigate both risks and opportunities
• You thrive when you don't have all the answers, you work autonomously in order to turn ideas into reality
• Articulate and eloquent, you're completely comfortable when it comes to crafting a message in German and English. Being fluent in French is a big plus

The On Global Communications team exists to tell powerful stories about On that enhance the brand's reputation. The team is responsible for corporate media relations, financial communications, issues / crisis management, executive communications, athlete storytelling and impact communications.
