POSITION OBJECTIVE

As the MLRO & Compliance Officer for our Swiss operations, you will be the appointed Money Laundering Reporting Officer under the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) and lead the local compliance function.

You will manage all aspects of AML / CFT, licensing, and regulatory engagement, including expertise in the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) regulations, particularly for Self-regulatory organisations (SRO), and the rules for Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs). This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational compliance, ensuring the business meets its regulatory obligations while enabling innovation and growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain existing SRO registration in good conduct with regulators.
• Lead and develop the Swiss compliance team, ensuring alignment with the group's compliance strategy and global policies.
• Collaborate with product, technology, operations, and legal teams to embed compliance requirements in business processes and product design, particularly for digital asset offerings.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulators (SO.FIT) and law enforcement agencies.
• Oversee company-wide AML / CFT, VASP, and conduct training tailored to different business units.
• Ensure Swiss operations integrate seamlessly with regional and global compliance frameworks.
• Represent the Swiss compliance function in governance forums and risk committees.
• Prepare and submit quarterly performance reports, regulatory returns, and STR / SARs to SRO and MROS.
• Represent the company in Switzerland as registered Organ.
