We are looking for an enthusiastic Compliance Officer : Oversee and perform AML and KYC due diligence for new and existing clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough PEP screening and enhanced due diligence (EDD) on high-risk clients. Manage the client onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation is collected, verified, and properly recorded. Review and update client files periodically, ensuring ongoing compliance with legal and regulatory obligations. Monitor and investigate suspicious transactions, preparing reports for internal review and escalating potential risks as needed. Liaise with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers and risk teams, to address compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance on regulatory requirements. Keep up-to-date with changes in AML, KYC, and other relevant compliance regulations and ensure internal policies are aligned with current standards. Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures to support the private banking business. Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for staff on compliance topics, including AML and KYC practices. Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory authorities as required. Required Profile How do we imagine our future Compliance Officer? Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, preferably within private banking or financial services. In-depth knowledge of AML, KYC, and PEP regulations, as well as client onboarding and client file review processes. Familiarity with relevant regulatory bodies and compliance frameworks. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess potential risks and implement appropriate controls. Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and maintain compliance with evolving standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with compliance software is a plus. Certification in AML or Compliance (such as CAMS or ICA) is preferred but not required. Fluent English required, German and other languages are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
